A Korean drama, almost filmed as a documentary, about So-Hee, a physically handicapped girl. At first she is in a Christian home where the inhabitants, rejected by society, are abused in all kinds of ways. Yet she fall...展开s in love with Min-Soo, who is just as spastic. They also managed to find happiness, despite the restrictions and the repeated violation of their dignity. When a volunteer discovers that So-Hee has been pregnant, he suspect she's been raped. Against her will, she is dragged from one home to another, where she is so strictly guarded that she is very lonely.
The director follows her daily life in detail as a way of providing an insight into her complex emotional situation. The aggressive manner in which the handicapped people relate to each other is occasionally difficult to watch. The film, however, does radiate an enormous power and also has its tender moments.
