Встреча с прошлым (1966)

　　A famous surgeon named Nino, who came to the village, is requested to perform the operation. She recognizes her ex-husband Akia is the wounded person and now her difficult past is there before her eyes: Almaskhan's son...展开 Akia raped orphaned Nino. She and her real love Giorgi cannot be together. Life becomes monotonous for her. Almaskhan makes his son marry Nino, but Akia - hater of the Soviet Union soon disappears in Turkey. Neither Almaskhan is able to endure the oppression from Bolshevists - he burns the house and tries to run but dies in a fire. Also Nino's little child dies during this conflagration. She leaves this village and goes to the city to begin new life and becomes a doctor.
　　Georgia in the early 20s. Following the establishment of the Soviet regime and collectivization social conflicts start brewing in a small village. The main female character of the movie, who left the village in those difficult years and became a famous surgeon, comes to the kolkhoz to celebrate the 30th anniversary.
