第一段：
昊昊是个独立导演，从北京回到了家乡太原（这个城市被称为龙城，是中国的中部的一个古城）。母亲来与昊昊谈心，昊昊表达出自己在北京生活的孤独与破碎，而母亲则反复强调婚姻与家庭的重要性，说这是中国和谐文化的根基，只有遵循家庭伦理才能做一个国家的好公民。
父亲在观看昊昊带来的《十日谈》（意大利导演帕索里尼作品），父亲在对着影片中的性爱狂笑，露出变态与欣喜的神态。
母亲在流行歌手顺子的《回家》歌声中教导昊昊要忘掉之前...展开的遗憾，好好谈一场恋爱，然后过家庭生活。
全家人一起在陈琳《爱了就爱了》歌声中思考死亡与爱情。母亲再次强调婚姻的重要性是总在用心维持，自由的状态会让人迷失。
之后全家人一同过了一个制度化的中国年，而鞭炮声预示着革命。
昊昊在阳光下感受太原的回忆：偶像（樱木花道：一个奋斗的漫画人物）、时间、手掌……
第二段：
昊昊春节期间离开家乡，前往北京。在火车上昊昊思考与感受着。
昊昊在天安门奔跑，但还是感到压力，而昊昊用体制的压力符号来表示。昊昊来解构自己与周围的世界：世界需要我们来不停的创造、纳粹对于中国人口过剩是美好……
昊昊在住处与女孩楠在做爱，但做爱也无法阻止昊昊的忧郁。昊昊的心中一直等待着昆这样的一个符号，也是一个美好与神秘的姑娘。而楠很生气的离开了昊昊，并告诉昊昊不会幸福。
昊昊作为导演在用记录中的北京天气表达自己的心情：从大雪到沙尘暴，夕阳中老树的剪影、铁窗与自己的面庞……
之后昊昊又想去找其他的女孩，性成为他的追求。
第三段：
王年年对于吴昊昊早已经变为一种依恋，一天，年年来找昊昊，他们决定一起去故宫游玩。在故宫的城墙外边昊昊与年年讨论了未来、回忆、死亡、自私、家庭与婚姻、规则、权利、男性与女性……
第四段：
吴昊昊早晨起床洗涮与大小便，收拾好房间，睡眠，享用自己的孤独。
第五段：
无论如何，吴昊昊仍然说要美好的生活。
chapter one
Wu Haohao is a indipended film director,he came back Tai Yuan(the city is also called Dragon City,since it is the first ancient city of China) from Beijing. Haohao talked to his mum,about his loneness and fragmented heart and life in Beijing, mum emphasised again and again the importance of the marrage and family,she said it is the foundation of the chinese culture and harmony,the only way to be a good man is to follow the family ethic in mum’s opinion.
Hao hao’s father watched film Il Decameron Hao Hao brough to him with Hao Hao,father quffawed on the sex part of the film and expose some abnormal and delighted expression.
Mather encourage Hao Hao to have a good stable relation with a girl and then go to a family life in the song of Back to Home from Shun Zi,a Tanwan pop song Singer and writer .
In the Song loved then love from Chen Lin,Hao Hao think about death and love,mother emphasised on marrage and family again ,she think freedom drive people lost.
And then the whole family spent a under-system chinese new year together,the firework called on revolution.
Hao Hao memerised his Childhood Tai Yuan,a cartoon character emerged in mind- Sakuragi Hanamichi，he was his idol in the childhood.
Chapter two
Hao Hao leave for Beijing from Tai Yuan.He was thinking and feeling on the train.
He run in the Tian’an Men Square,he endured pressure,which he indicates by symbol of system .Hao Hao deconstructs himself and the surroundings,the world request us to create,Nazi is good for the over loaded Chinese population.
Hao hao made love with a girl ,Nan,in his apartment,which can not stop the cafard of Hao Hao.In his mind ,a symbol” Kun “could not vanish,it was a lovely and mysterious girl,and Nan was pissed off on it and said Hao Hao never can get happiness.
Hao Hao documents the weather of Beijing to express his mood,from snow to sand storm,silhouette of the tree in the sunset,iron window and his own face.
Afterwards he suppose to find other girls,sex becomes his pursuit.
Chapter three
Hao Hao attachs love for Wang Nian Nian for long time.One day she came to Hao Hao,They wend to Forbidden City together.Outside the city wall,they talked about: future; memery ;death ;family and marriage; regulation; right; man and woman.
Chapter Four
Hao Hao got up in the morning,wash and relieve himself,sleep and enjoy his loneness.
Chapter Five
However,Hao Hao says he asks for fine life.

Wu Haohao never lost the desire of love.
