As the bickering between the two grows, Beth decides she wants to have a child not matter how Claire feels about it, and when a close friend invites them on a weekend long party in the country, Beth sees a golden opportunity for a one-night-stand with a man that could give her the baby she wants. Beth sets her sights on David (Gregg Hoffman), who is smart, good-looking, and well-mannered, but David turns out not to be that easy to seduce -- in part because he's become deeply infatuated with Claire.
