改编自真实的故事，讲述一座阴森隔绝的精神病院里女人的遭遇，全片绝大部分场景都是在封闭压抑的环境中拍摄，女主角Mercedes Carreras因出色的演技而获得当年莫斯科国际电影节最佳女演员奖。

Based on real events that shocked the public, and bringing its first ever national film the theme of madness, this touching story alleging negligence of neuropsychiatric institutes. Mercedes Carreras, winner of the prize "Best Actress" at the Festival of Moscow, plays Gabriela, a young girl interned because of his alcoholism. The treatment for his addiction develops favorably, until Gabriella begins to enter into a criminal conspiracy that involves the hospital. Soon becomes clear danger to the fabric of the corrupt institution, and even for herself.
Enrique Carreras (January 6, 1925 - 29 August 1995) was a Peruvian-born Argentine film director, screenwriter and film producer, and was known as one of the most prolific film directors in the history of the Cinema of Argentina.
Born in Lima, Peru, Carreras directed nearly 100 films in his 40 year career between 1951 and 1991. He directed films such as Así es la vida in 1977. He died in Buenos Aires in 1995.
