1967年嘎纳电影节最佳短片金棕榈及最佳技术奖，1968年奥斯卡最佳短片提名。本片据说是为荷兰航空拍的宣传片，导演John Fernhout是荷兰历史上最伟大的电影摄影师之一，曾任伊文思的《新大陆》《西班牙土地》和《四万万人民》等片的摄影。本片的剪辑水平不亚于后来那部号称“剪辑教材”的《丹麦交响曲》，而摄影更是让人赞叹到不行，难以想象如此高技术含量的作品居然出现在四十多年前。
