She recruits and...展开 follows five young Hong Kong residents as they document their triumphs and tribulations during Hong Kong's first post-colonial year. The first feature-length documentary to chronicle the year after the Brits have gone, Citizen Hong Kong captures the lives and intimate stories of Hong Kong and its people. Juxtaposing ordinary people's life stories with the making of history, Citizen Hong Kong depicts a city that is constantly reinventing its own identity.
