Though the Argentine leader Juan Peron was dead by that time, in 1976 his party was still in power. That was the year that Argentina's military decided it wasn't going to suffer th...展开e Peronistas' rule any more, and took over the government. In this story, Raul Salas is a union leader in Cordova. As the new military government's hold over the country solidifies, he experiences increasing difficulty in doing his job, and is in danger of becoming one of that country's desaparacidos or "disappeared ones", people who are abducted by the government and are never seen or heard from again. This film was banned by the Argentinian government for 10 years.
