Another fantastic film from Hieronim Neumann (whose masterpiece, Blok, can be found on the Anthology Of Experimental Polish Animation). Building upon Zbig Rybczynski's analogue works, Neumann's films are extremely visu...展开ally inventive and logistically complex. More overtly "animation" than his other films, Neumann utilises mattes, manipulated photographic imagery and camera movements to great effect, bringing his surreal scenario (with echoes of Szczechura's Fatamorgana diptych) to life.
